Transport Scotland director of major projects Lawrence Shackman talks about the ground investigation work carried out to bring certainty to those directly impacted by the A83 Rest and Be Thankful closures as a result of landslide.

Shackman provides insight into Transport Scotland’s monitoring of weather and hillside conditions to configure the usability of the road. He also analyses short term and long term solutions for the protection of the road from ground movement.
