Department for Transport director of roads strategy David Buttery looks at the pipeline of work for the roads sector on both the strategic and local road network. During the presentation, Buttery discusses plans for the next 10 years to ensure steady infrastructure investment and ensure there is demand to keep the supply chain active and profitable.

Buttery also considers the challenges of creating infrastructure that is resilient to climate change while also working on decarbonising the transport sector.
