Watch: Environment Agency’s plans for reducing flood and coastal erosion risk

Environment Agency director for flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management (FCERM) strategy & national adaptation provides an insight into the Environment Agency’s plans to make the nation ready for and more resilient to flooding and coastal change.

Foley also discusses about the impact of the National Flood Risk Assessment (NaFRA2) and the updating of the National Coastal Erosion Risk Management, to reflect 2018 UK Climate Change Projections, which is expected to be published this winter.

Among other topics that Foley explores in her presentation are: mainstreaming nature based solutions and the £200M flood and coastal resilience innovation programmes.
