Watch: Resilient bridge infrastructure for a changing climate

This video was first recorded at NCE’s Bridge Design and Maintenance conference.

Against the backdrop of climate change, modularity and off-site construction are delivering real efficiencies in the delivery of sustainable, climate-resilient infrastructure. Drawing on recent project experience, Mabey Bridge head of engineering Nick Ianetta draws on a wide range of case studies to explore the key environmental challenges faced by engineers when specifying a bridge and illustrate how accelerated bridge construction can be delivered.

During the presentation, Ianetta explores some of the significant engineering challenges associated with climate-resilient infrastructure and how they can be overcome, as well as discussing the role that modular steel solutions can play in minimising project risk and maximizing project efficiency.
